We are having...

Another boy! We're soooooo excited!

It was pretty funny...

The ultrasound tech said that she would start from the head and work her way down to reveal the gender. She put the thingy on my stomache to find the head, not expecting me to know what I was looking at. She happened to put it at the baby's bottom, and as soon as she put it on I spotted "it." Ha ha. I yelled out, "There it is! It's a boy!" The tech laughed and said, "Ok, I guess we will start from down here."

I'm 2 for 2 with guessing the gender of my babies. :-)

Frog Pond

Today we went to a nearby pool called the Frog Pond. It was a fun place and had a very large shallow area, which was perfect for little ones. Lincoln was able to walk around in the water by himself for most of the time (with us right by him, of course). One of his favorite things there was the frog slide, that he went on several times.
We've been having some warm weather (who hasn't?!?) and it was nice to cool off!

Side note: Richie, Krystal, Graham and Isla are staying with us right now while Richie does a summer internship. It was all very last-minute but it has been fun to have them here and do things like this with them!

Cascades

About a month ago (June 9th....man, I'm behind!), we headed about 1/2 hour from home to hike to the Cascades (waterfall). We hadn't necessarily planned on hiking the entire 2.5 miles each way (5 total) so we weren't totally prepared (not enough water and were in flip flops). But we did it. And it was awesome. The scenery was gorgeous and was we were hiking in shade for most of the time, so even though it was a warm day, it was nice. Lincoln loved to stop and throw rocks into the river, and he was even excited to get in the freezing water! We had a lot of fun, but I don't know if I'll do the entire hike again while I'm pregnant! Luckily, there are lots of cool spots to hang out by the river and have a picnic that are near the beginning of the hike, so we plan to go back soon.
How Lincoln spent much of the hike:
The waterfall:
Thinking about going in...
Getting closer...
Going for it...
The face that tells you that the water is freezing:
Happy he did it...
Whew!
One the hike back to the car, Lincoln was so tired that he just fell asleep in Derick's arms. Poor little dude.
Thankfully we took a different path back, and it looked like this:
Nice and flat the whole way.
Fun day!!

Father's Day

I am totally lame and didn't take any pictures on Father's Day. I am not good at remembering to do that. However, Lincoln and I gave Derick a frame with these 3 pictures in it. He loved it and took it to his new office. The progression of Lincoln's personality in those few minutes when we took these pics makes me laugh.

wa-er-meln

Lincoln's favorite thing to eat lately is watermelon. He would live off of it if he could. On one particularly nice day, we sat outside and enjoyed some together.

I love his smile in this picture.
He even drinks the leftover juice from his bowl.
