adventures at the bathroom sink

Lincoln's favorite thing to do while I get ready lately is play with water and trucks in the bathroom sink. We now have step stools for him to stand on, but on one particular day, before we had the stools, Lincoln improvised. He grabbed a bucket, turned it over and stood on it. It was the cutest thing to see him come up with a solution on his own.
{that black thing isn't anything nasty...the sink is just old and beat up, in case you were wondering}
On another day, Lincoln kept pointing at Derick's tongue scraper, saying he wanted it. I told him no at first, and he got really upset. Not mad, but just really sad and disappointed and he started to cry. Out of curiosity, I let him have it, and he took it over to the sink. He dipped it in the water, and then started rubbing it on his face, trying to SHAVE! It was so cute! He was trying to be "big" like Daddy. I couldn't believe how funny and adorable it was. Then Derick put a little shaving cream on Lincoln's face and that was the cherry on top for him.
Lincoln felt pretty special knowing that he got to "shave" like his Daddy.
