Easter, part 3

Easter Day. Derick and I spoke in Church (talk about pressure) but now that I think about it, it was good because it gave us an opportunity to really focus on our Savior. Unfortunately, I didn't get any pictures in our Sunday clothes. But, I only made Lincoln a tie, so it wasn't anything that hasn't been seen before! He looked handsome. I guess the stress of speaking threw me off my game a bit.

We waited until after Lincoln's nap to do Lincoln's basket. The Easter Bunny gave him chalk, a bubble fan/gun/thingy, stickers, a plastic toy motorcycle and candy, of course. He spotted his basket immediately after he came downstairs and was ecstatic.

We spent the afternoon playing with his treasures and hiding eggs.

At one point, Lincoln tripped over a rock and his basket fell upside-down on the ground. He was upset for about 2 seconds until we picked them up and then he was fine.
Funny story: today Lincoln and I were playing outside, and he started looking for his eggs. He kept saying, "Eggs, where are you?" and went looking in all of the places where Derick, ahem, I mean the Easter Bunny hid them the first time. It was pretty cute. I had to keep explaining that the eggs weren't there anymore and he was a little bit distraught over it. I guess I'll have to pull out some plastic ones, or just some other kind of toy and have a little hunt with him.
