Blacksburg had a bunch of different little Easter egg "hunts" going on the day before Easter. We chose to go to the one at the Municipal park. Again, it was so fun to have Lincoln be able to do this (on his own) this year. They had everything very organized and let just a few kids have a turn in the fenced off area full of hay and eggs, to collect their eggs, and then they replenished the supply of eggs for the next group. Parents weren't allowed (thank goodness, because parents get insane with this kind of stuff) but they had helpers to assist the kids if they needed it. So basically, Lincoln went in on his own and collected his eggs, while we stood outside the fence, cheered him on, and watched proudly. It was so cute.
Also, you will see in the pictures that there was a guy making balloon animals. Lincoln was so fascinated by him. Lincoln got a tiger.
We also saw the Easter bunny, which I thought Lincoln would be scared of since he won't even go close to Santa, but he liked it.
After the hunt, we sat at the playground with some friends from our ward and let the kiddos go crazy. It was a fun day!
