We started out by eating this deliciousness for breakfast:
{photo from Our Best Bites}
Cream cheese-stuffed lemon french toast with strawberries, from Our Best Bites (love them). I am sure that some of you made this also (in fact, I know a couple of you did) and I hope you enjoyed it as much as I did. It was delicious!
We get Lincoln a book for each holiday (the bigger ones) and birthday. I love having that tradition. This time, he got Little Blue Truck. I figured that we couldn't go wrong with a book about trucks and animals.
{please ignore our messy house, and the boxspring in the background that won't fit
upstairs...that's a story for another time}
We then ran a couple of errands. Lincoln needed some new pants and shoes.
I love little shopping outings.
Derick then went to a meeting and class, so Lincoln and I had fun.
We made popcorn and watched a movie.
Derick got out of class at nine (kind of late but that's ok!) and then our V-day date night began! Derick wanted to start a new tradition of getting Chinese food for V-day. Fine with me! He picked up a TON of yummy food on his way home. Yes, we're fat kids. Look at all that! And even with it being so much, it was still much cheaper than going out to eat. Love that.
It was all so DELISH!
{do you love the wood paneling in our dining room? Ugh. I think it's kind of funny.}
I love my sweetheart and all that he does for me! Happy Valentine's!

I'm digging the wood paneling. ;) Knowing you, you're probably dreaming of all the awesome things you could do to fix it up if it were your permanent house. And you would make that wood paneling pretty dang awesome, I'm sure of it.
