back in AZ...

Right before leaving Arizona, we were able to go to Derick's parents' cabin for a night.
We all snuggled up by the fire and ate and watched a movie.
Lincoln has been really into stuffed animals lately. He likes to hold one and dance with it, which is what he's doing here.

He has also been loving those little poppers that you throw on the ground. It's so cute to watch him because if one of them doesn't pop, he will go and stomp on it.
Just a couple of cute pictures...
This one shows how Lincoln puts his sunglasses on himself...upside down.
And here's a cute smile. Well, it's kind of cheesy, but cute. I don't catch smiles on camera too often, so I love anything I can get.
Having our stuff driven out to VA for us was cheaper than renting a Uhaul (and we were thrilled) so that's what we did. BUT, loading our stuff onto the truck in Phoenix was $1,000 cheaper than having the truck come to Prescott, so we loading everything up in Prescott, drove down to Phoenix, and then reloaded onto the truck that drove it out for us. It was a pain, but it saved us a thousand dollars so it was well worth it.
Here is Lincoln "helping." He actually did try to help push or lift quite a few times, which was so cute.
He was so excited to have the big truck to run around in for a few minutes.
Here is our little setup to move all of our stuff from our Uhaul to the big truck.
Derick's parents and my brother Bradley and sister Christie came to help.
Christie used all of the random things that were out to make up little games and entertain Lincoln, which was a huge help.
Derick's awesome packing skills show through here. You pay for how much space you use, and he was able to save us quite a bit of money by packing everything tight!
Lincoln all of a sudden decided that it was a good idea to sit down and rub dirt all over his face...something he hasn't really done before. I mean, he has played in the dirt of course, but never just thought of rubbing it all over his face. I was cringing when I saw him, just because who knows what was in this particular dirt. But it was funny, too.
We got to stay with Greg and Karla for our last night in AZ. Thanks, guys! We had my mom and siblings come over for dinner for a last little hoorah.

Now, on another note, I forgot to put pictures of the buildings around V Tech yesterday, so here are some:

Wow I love seeing all the pictures! I can't believe you moved already I didn't realize it would be so soon! It's great you are settled in now. Hopefully you got Lincoln's cough figured out. Since Maverick was born, every winter at least once he gets bad coughs/colds and he has to go on breathing treatments. I am convinced he has asthma since it runs on both sides of our families but he is still too young to tell. Anyway, I know how ya feel. Can't wait to see more pics, I wanna see the inside of the house!
