Shopping at Costco since we don't have one. We also went to IKEA and got some good stuff, which was fun.
Hangin' out in the love sac.
Bath time!
We went to the science museum in Pittsburgh (which is literally right next to where the Steelers play) and it was awesome! It was probably one of the coolest museums I have seen to take little kids because they had a lot of stuff that was catered to them.
Ha...I guess you can call these guys the striped family.
First of all, they had this A-MA-ZING model train display, which appeals to all ages. I was in awe. It was a huge replica of a bunch of stuff in Pittsburgh and it all moved. There were even little people swinging on swings and playing baseball. It also showed different seasons and times of day. It was awesome. Lincoln LOVES trains and could have watched it all day.
Ok, sorry. These train pics are probably getting boring.
There was also this robot that shot baskets. And there was a hoop next to it for you to try to beat the robot. Lincoln loves basketball, so he loved this too.
The very best part of the museum was the kiddie play area. It was awesome. They had a big water area, balls, tunnels, bridges, cars, things to bang on, etc. We stayed there most of the time.
cute Graham
There was also a huge fish tank that Lincoln loved.
This science center trip was kind of interesting. Remember how I said that Lincoln had that really bad cough? Well it got really bad that day for some reason and he was coughing so hard that he threw up all over himself right when we got there. I was able to clean him up in the bathroom enough to be able to stay and have fun, and his cough was fine the rest of the time. (Sorry to be gross).
However, that night it came back and he couldn't stop coughing. It was keeping everyone up and he was so miserable that we decided to just drive home. It was 4:00 on Sunday morning (when we had planned on staying until Monday) and we were so tired, that we had to pull over on the side of the road and get a little nap. He kept coughing that day and his breathing was off. He also slept the entire day. We were about to take him in to be seen, but then he started to show improvement. We have no clue what happened. Maybe it was just the dry weather up there or something that got to him since he was already having the cough. The doctor thinks it's either allergies (aggrivated by the change in climates, etc.) or asthma. Hopefully we can figure it out soon. We were so bummed to have to cut our trip short, but are glad that we were able to do it. Thanks, Rich, Krystal and Graham!!
