Derick's best friend, Ben, got married the week before Christmas. He married Loretta, who is so beautiful and sweet and we couldn't be happier for the two of them. They had such a beautiful sealing and a gorgeous reception! It's seriously one of the best receptions I have ever seen. They did a vintage Paris theme and the details were immaculate. I seriously wish you could have all been there to experience the ambience. It was so fun.
Me with my beautiful friend (and old roomie), Hillary, who also got married right after Christmas.
They seriously turned a church cultural hall into a completely different place.
Our table.
I didn't really want to take Lincoln because I just wanted to be able to relax and enjoy myself. However, we had left him with my mom while we went to the sealing. When we got back, I couldn't take 2 steps away from him without him getting upset. There wasn't enough time between the two events for him to have enough time with me either. So, we had to cancel on our friend, Ellie, who was going to watch him that night (sorry, Elles!) and take him with us. Thankfully, he was such an angel, and we had lots of help at the dinner, between friends and Derick's parents.
The "patisserie." So cute.
Ben built this awesome awning to go over the food that was just perfect for the theme!
Hill with Lincoln. He loved her.
Umbrellas hanging from the ceiling.
Derick was the best man, and had to give a speech. He did a great job!
The lovely couple.
Desserts :-)
Derick and Ben...
...and their matching socks.
Buddies from high school: Curtis Kleinman, Derick, Ben Brimhall and Andy Baird.
They all had such a blast seeing each other and cracking jokes!
My favorite thing was the vintage photo booth. If I would have known about this idea when we got married we totally would have done it. It's perfect because the married couple gets a copy of all the photo booth pictures, so they have pictures of everyone that went to their reception. So great! Anyway, here are our pictures. I loved the props. Hillary's fiance, Kenny, couldn't make it, so Hillary stole Lincoln to take pictures with her. So cute!

Wow, that really does look amazing in there. Never would have guessed they did it in the cultural hall. Man, my reception was seriously lacking apparently!
holy cow that looks amazing!! Did they do it themselves or did they hire someone? I love it!!
What a cute theme for a wedding reception!! I couldn't even tell that was in a church cultural hall until you said that!! Wow! And I love the vintage photo booth shots :)
