Tech Nite

On May 10th, Derick and I attented TechNite, which is his company's biggest event of the year. It was at the Hotel Roanoke and was a really nice night. It is an award banquet to honor some of the companies and entrepreneurs in the area. It was fun to have something to get dressed up for. You stay-at-home-moms know what I mean. We enjoyed a nice dinner, the program, and the company of hundreds of brilliant technology minds. We also sat with Lt. Governor Bill Bolling and his wife, and met Senator Warner.

Unfortunately, Derick and I didn't get a picture of just the two of us {and I am kicking myself, still, for that} but here are a couple of other pictures.

This is of Derick speaking at the end of the program.
This was Derick's official "induction" into his new position as the Executive Director of the RBTC.
Cory {Derick's predecessor}, Senator Mark Warner, Derick
Cory, the guy in the position before Cory {I forgot his name} and Derick. Three consecutive EDs.
The Hotel. It was really nice.
