After the egg hunt, we went and ran some errands and got lunch. The whole morning made for some tired boys. These next pictures crack me up. I looked back at the boys twice, and they were asleep in the exact same position each time. Mouths open and all.
I also love Easter Sunday at church. Everyone is happy and looks so nice! Here are our handsome boys in their pink ties. This picture was about the best we could get. If you have kids, you know how that goes.
Since we have 9:00 church, the Easter Bunny came while we were there. We don't need all the excitement before church, when we are already crunched for time. When we got home, the boys searched for their baskets.
After lunch and naptime, it was time to play outside! The weather could not have been more perfect for our Easter afternoon. We hunted for eggs in the back yard (I love our yard...so many trees) and played a little tee-ball. Then our friends, the Allens, came over for dinner. We grilled chicken and had lots of other yummy stuff. We aren't the traditional Easter dinner kind of people. Matt and Katherine have a tradition of using a big sling shot thingy to shoot Easter eggs. After dinner, we walked over to a nearby field and did just that. It was hilarious. It was such a good day!
