I love Christmas Eve. We took it pretty easy this time and cleaned a bit and relaxed. The evening is when we start all the fun. We had our traditional Mexican feast for dinner. I made enchiladas and then we got some delicious tamales from a local restaurant. Then the boys took baths and we all opened our pajamas. We then read the Christmas story from the scriptures and used a little felt nativity that I made for the characters. Then it was time to make a cookie plate for Santa, and it was off to bed for the boys! Once we knew they were asleep, Derick and I finished the everything for the morning and watched It's a Wonderful Life. It's not Christmas until you have watched that movie, if you ask me. It was a fun day!
Bennett decided that his pajamas needed to go on his head...
...so then Lincoln did, too.
It's not easy to find matching pajamas (I love when they match) for two boys that are drastically different in size. Lincoln wears a 6 and Bennett needs an 18 or 24-month. Every once in a while, though, I can find a company that sells some on Zulily, which was the case here. They look so cute.
