4th of July

We had a fun 4th. We didn't do much in the morning. It was hard for us all to get ready with 7 people (Richie and Krystal were still here‚ and only one shower. Plus, Blacksburg did the town's parade at 2:00, which was too hot and during nap time! In the evening, we went to our friends the Callahans' house for a BBQ, which was fun. We hung out with the Kents, Daleys, and Callahans, all of whom have kids Lincoln's age.

After the BBQ, it was time for the town's fireworks. It was getting pretty late, so Richie and Krystal stayed home and Derick, Lincoln and I headed out. We were running late, so the fireworks started as we were pulling up to the park. We were able to find a spot to quickly pull over and hop out to watch them. It was fun just chillin' on the sidewalk as a little family and watching fireworks together.
