New Year's Day, 2014

It was one of the sunnier/warmer days that we had in a while (and by warm, I mean 48). We decided to go to one of our favorite places, the Cascades, and have a picnic lunch. We never do the whole hike (it's 2.5 miles each way), but we like to walk in a bit and just enjoy the beautiful scenery! The boys love the water, throwing rocks, climbing rocks, etc. Lincoln also brought his new Morphibian car and drove it around a bit. Since it was cold, there were icicles on the trees near the water. This is also one of the rare occasions when I'm in the pictures and Derick isn't!
