Lincoln's 3rd birthday

Lincoln's birthday was on a Tuesday this year, so we decided to have a party for him the Saturday before. We invited some of our friends in our ward and some of Lincoln's best friends. He wanted a car theme for his party. I just did cars in general, not Disney's "Cars." We had so much fun. We had pizza and cupcakes to eat. For games, we had a beanbag toss into big actual tires, and a race track where all the kids raced some little Hot Wheels cars we got them. I think the kids all had a great time. It was fun to see Lincoln so excited about his party.

Yesterday, on Lincoln's actual birthday, we took him out to lunch. Derick had class at night, so lunch was the next best option. Lincoln chose to eat at Macado's. He loves this restaurant because there are so many different things to look at. He, of course, ordered chicken nuggets.

Lincoln got lots of cool gifts. One of his friend favorites was this shark airplane from Bradie. We gave him some nerf guns and the BluTrack race track that we used at the party. Grammy and Papa sent him some Land Before Time puppets, because he has really been into that movie.

We love our 3-year-old Lincoln and don't know what we'd do without him!
