more snow

A couple of weeks ago, Deja and Josh (Derick's neice and nephew, which is weird because they are our age so it doesn't feel like we are their aunt and uncle, it feels more like siblings) came up to visit. They have a tradition of cutting down a Christmas tree every year and we were so excited to be able to join in on the fun!

Lincoln doesn't like playing in the snow at the house, but for some reason whenever we go up into the mountains he LOVES it.
Lincoln grew VERY fond of Deja. He was her little shadow the whole time they were here.

Lincoln fell down at one point, but thought it was pretty cool and started to play with the snow with his bare hands. Thank goodness it wasn't too cold that day, hence the hoody instead of a thick coat.
Derick and Josh holding the trees that they worked so hard to cut and dig up.
The guys then started playing a game of snowballs and trying to hit certain things, us included.
We didn't have any sleds, so instead we rode a shovel down a little hill.
At one point I looked over at Lincoln and he was over by himself eating snow. It was so funny.

Thanks, Deja and Josh for a fun time!

OMG Cheryl you made me laugh with that pic of you on the shovel! So creative to use it as a sled! :)
