1. Tie a shoe.
2. Noah's Ark. The ark unzips and has little animal finger puppets {from IKEA} inside.
3. Telephone.
4. Clock.
5. Apple Tree. The apples have snaps on them, so you can take them off and put them in the basket, and then snap them back on.
6. Road Pages. The light blue garage is a pocket to store a little car.
7. Shapes and Colors. They have velcro to stick, and the pocket is nice to store the shapes.
8. Counting. I wanted a creative way to display the beads. My super creative husband came up with the idea of making them into a train track. Love it.
9. Laundry Day.
10. Garden. I love this page. You pull the veggies out of the ground. Derick also came up with the idea of putting a hose so that we could "water" them.
11. Button the flowers.
Like I said, I just have to do the cover now. It is going to be made out of this fabric.
I decided to do the book like a 3-ring binder, so that pages could be taken out and passed among kids, or interchanged with others in the future. That's why the pages have the eyelet holes in them. Despite the frustration, I am super proud of this book and am excited to use it! Oh, and I am not very good at coming up with ideas. I am just good at copying them. I got ideas (and copied some) from these sites:

Oh my goodness that is so cute. I may have to force myself to endure hair-pulling frustration to do something like this, as well. Great job, Cheryl!
Man oh MAN that is the CUTEST quiet book I've ever seen! The pages are so thought out and I love that they each will teach little Lincoln (and future children) something. LOVE it Cheryl! You did a great job!! (P.S. I feel you with the frustration. I literally haven't even LOOKED at my sewing machine since that dumb quilt. We're still fighting).
You have EVERY right to be proud of yourself. That is AMAZING! Each page looks so professional, like it really could withstand Lincoln and others. :) I am very impressed. Congratualations!
oh my goodness! That is awesome. Back at Christmas I wanted a quiet book for Jaxon.....I bought one. You are my hero!
You are INSANE. That is AWESOME!!! I have wanted to do one, but I'm pretty sure I would've killed something or someone in the process. Come and visit us soon!
Wow! you are so talented. That is simply adorable. I can't believe you made that! It will be well worth it for years to come! Congrats on getting it done!
Oh my...you are amazing! I loved the page with the train too...so I better give credit to Derick for the idea-but you made it happen! So much time and effort, but it looks so great and kid proof too! Love you all...

That is so amazing! wow, you are so creative. Looks great. :)
Ok are you kidding me? I need some of these SOOOO bad. I am going to have to get my butt into gear and be as cool as you and make them!
WOW!!! I love it! You have truly inspired me to get off my butt and finish mine. Though I don't think I will show you mine when I am done! Lincoln and all the other little Maggards will have so much fun with it.
